We will be visiting a local assisted living facility where students will have the opportunity to give back to their community and make meaningful connections with senior citizens. During this session, students will participate and engage senior citizens in various activities. Did you know that volunteering isn’t just beneficial for the seniors? Research shows that volunteering confers mental and physical health benefits for those doing the helping. It also fosters positive social relationships and contributes to a positive image of seniors as a healthy and vital part of our society.
